A Certain Virus
It feels up jut of sternum,
it sees ripe while we see red.
Who shall claim the sun for us? That is one thing
we cannot rely on
other humans for. Our days remain inopportune,
our brainpower hijacked by screens.
The snakehead fixates on that which is driven by an impulse.
How superb us idlers are scaffolded
by the things money has bought
as we approach the worst financial crisis
we have ever seen; from an unfair economic system we created,
we shall take our medicine: depression.
