Together Alone
Alongside the Pacific we walked once together alone
Lost to each other in memories together alone
Again and again we return to him, our Ocean,
Separation dictated by desperation forever together alone.
Each rage a new testament’s page to addiction
Each depression another chapter to tether together alone
Desperate bequest of a Sharabi to his love
Empty vessel powerless to hold better than together alone
