The Best Cowboy
I dreamed I was the best cowboy in the
TV set. The blonde with the bassoon
took notes. She was the belle of the
belfry. She spelled my name the way the
angels will write it. I brodied through a
dust storm, wound up drunk and beautiful:
my eyes, my six gun, my improvised demise.
